The Perfect CC Revolver

One of the reviewers said this 856 CH UL was a little heavy for CC. At 16oz, it's the lightest revolver Taurus makes. Charter Arms does have a 12oz revolver, I like Charter Arms revolvers, but they have five shots, not six. I will trade 4oz for the extra round. I really like this 856. The grip is good, the trigger is excellent on both of mine, and better than those on my Ruger and S&W revolvers (both snubs). I'm very accurate out to 15 yards, could do better with practice, but deadly accurate at self-defense range. I am not convinced that a steady diet of +P ammo is a good idea for this gun, but 158 wadcutters or Magtech .38 special SHORT are fine. The Magtechs are perfect to use by the recoil-averse among us. I added the Veridian grip laser and use Underwood maximum expansion loads, and this is the perfect CC revolver.

Great C&C gun

Bought this specifically for a C&C gun and it is perfect. Nice size and weight with the 6 shot capacity makes this a really nice setup. Performs nicely with fairly tight patterns once you get familiar with it. Works best with +P and Defense loads. Excellent buy!

Shoot straight pretty accurate but a little heavy I was looking for something a little lighter but this will do for now. I was trying for something smaller for concealed carry this works but it is heavy a little too heavy.
