Good value Review by Joe r

Was carrying my m/36 chiefs special that I bought in 1970 when I saw what the new ones go for. Had to worry about holster wear and rust issues so the M&P looked like a good alternative for everyday carry. Stainless steel, aluminum and plastic will hold up a lot better than the blued steel and my classic Smith will hold its value. S&W rocks (Posted on 11/3/2018)

Nice 'Little Brother' to the main S$W line. Not quite the fit & finish but not quite the price either. It all balances out.
Pretty much become my EDC. (Posted on 9/2/2018)

Was able to pick up this S&W Bodyguard 38 on sale under $300. It handled the way I hoped, grouped pretty well for a 1.875 in barrel. Grip seemed small in my hand so I picked up a Hogue #60020 model grip and it made a world of difference, highly recommended this pistol and replacing the grip. (Posted on 6/28/2018)

Over all an typical S&W product. Great quality, excellent price through RK Guns. Not real happy with the grip, changed it to a Hogue right away. Not real happy with the new style chamber release, But thats just me. (Posted on 6/8/2018)
Not the S&W quality I am accustomed to Review by CCW Revolver

I saw this revolver on RK Guns and the type and price was hard to pass up. My wife had been wanting a revolver for CC and a +P rated .38 Smith seemed to be a good fit. Upon receipt I was a little disappointed with the fit and finish on the revolver. It feels cheap in the hand and the cylinder release is stiff and it is difficult to push the cylinder out from seated position when the release is pressed. The biggest draw back in my opinion is the quality of the trigger. It is very heavy even for a DAO revolver and the design of the trigger itself seem more along the lines of a Taraus than a Smith. I guess overall for the price it's a good buy, and hopefully it will be better after its broken in. (Posted on 5/31/2018)

This is what i paid for on sale 279.00. Its a descent conceal carry. Trigger is a little stiff but i expect that in a double action only revolver.front sight is hard to pick up being the same color at the gun. It is what it is overall what I expected do NOT pay the full retail for this firearm.. (Posted on 5/25/2018)

Purchased this revolver after having my eye on the airweight for a few years. The bodyguard is very similar to the airweight. I've yet to fire it, unfortunately. But I will say, the only gripe I have is the small grip. It will be great to conceal but difficult for someone with large hands to hold on to. Also recommend springing for the crimson Trace ready version. Not even night sights on this model. Overall, very happy with my purchase. (Posted on 5/25/2018)

Really disappointed with Smith and Wesson on this purchase. Fit and finish very bad. Suspect poor design is causing timing issues with cylinder rotation. Stamped as +P capable but would not dare try +P loads with all the issues this revolver has. Intend to contact S&W about this firearm. They should take their name of this gun. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth about S&W products that had previously been very well made weapons in the past form me. (Posted on 5/25/2018)

Great concealed carry pistol. With it being so lightweight and using plus "P" ammo it'll sting your hand. Worth it as a backup pistol. Also the on sale price I couldn't pass the deal. Staff at RK was was very friendly. Thanks (Posted on 5/25/2018)

I had been looking for a gun with a concealed hammer for a while and the prices were just too high. I was thrilled when Rural King had a special deal. It is a great little handgun. (Posted on 5/25/2018)

I bought this to pocket carry when I cant carry on my belt. Its light and easy to conceal. I shot a box of cheap ammo with no problems. Also shot 5 rounds of defensive rounds with no problems. The trigger is fine and recoil wasn't an issue. I'm not a fan of the top cylinder release. Its plastic and awkward. It's not a deal breaker but I would rather have a normal sw release. I got it on sale for for $280 and it was a great deal. At normal price I would spend the extra $20 on a 442. (Posted on 5/24/2018)

This is my first conceal carry handgun and I'm very impressed! Small enough to slip into your front pants pocket. It has a bit of a kick with Plus P ammo. I couldn't find any dealer who could beat the Rural King price. Highly recommended! (Posted on 5/20/2018)
