Bring Back a Classic with a little Bit Extra with the 1911 A1 from Rock Island. This Updated commander sized 1911 has all the features you've come to love with a little bit of a touch up. The pistol is made with the traditional steel frame and slide, giving it a solid familiar feel. The steel frame is also mated with G10 grips that fill the hand and provide a slip resistant texture. This particular model is equipped with a 5" barrel keeping the iconic outline and balance for a smaller 1911. One of the nice upgrades to the pistol is the inclusion of more modern Novak Style sight this give a clear sight picture. This sight picture is further enhanced with the use of some more nice modern amenities is the addition of an improved combat skeletal hammer and bobbed surface to prevent snagging on clothing when drawing the pistol. Even with all of these excellent additions this pistol remains a classic concealed carry rendition of a beloved American Handgun.
