Get one! Review by Rob

After reading all the reviews and having owned several Mossbergs, I decided to go buy one. I was not disappointed. Although it’s made of mostly plastic the gun is accurate. First thing I would do if you decide to buy one is tighten all the screws on the gun, the mag housing was very loose as were all the others. No issues whatsoever with loading or shooting. I would buy another one. (Posted on 10/25/2019)
Fun starter. A little more would have added a lot of value. Review by Country

Looks like an AR, but mostly a cheap pistol wrapped in plastic cover. Having said that, it is a lot of fun. Just make sure your expectations are under control before you buy it. The included scope exceeded my expectations. Clear, bright, and set right on, right out of the box.

There has to be a better way to implement the clip! Mine hangs up, springs bend and lock up, and God help you if you think you are really going to put 25 rounds in it; even with the loader that comes with it. The tolerances on the big plastic extension are just not adequate for that job. Suggest a multiple, 10-15 round all metal, clip option!

Another low cost suggestion that would help a lot. Consider adding a rear sling that you could throw around your shoulder and push into to stabilize the gun when you hold it away from you. Remember it is a heavy .22 pistol. Sighting it is not for the old and weak. Even you tough guys are going to have difficulty and a cheap nylon sling to throw over your shoulder and stabilize would help a lot. (Posted on 10/16/2019)

Because of recent health problems, I haven’t been able to get out. My wife though had a good time and made our son-in-law want one. Only complaint was loading magazine. Couldn’t get more than 10 rounds in it. Would turn up inside. (Posted on 10/14/2019)
Cheep Gun Review by Bob

The gun looked good in the picture but when I got it I found out why it was so cheep. For the most part it’s a plastic 22. I think the biggest improvement could be a change to the magazine and magazine release. I wasn’t able to site in the red dot site and replaced it with a laser which made it better. Good for Plinking Review by John

OK, this pistol looks great. It is decently lightweight and the addition of a front rail means thinks like a light can be added. So it looks to be a great firearm for small varmints, of which I have many. I have sighted in the Red Dot scope and it seems to shoot consistently, yielding a pattern of about 1 to 2 inches at 30 years, which is not bad. Only one or two missfires out of about 50 rounds so far. And my wife loves it. Overall, not a bad investment.

The complaints I have are as follows:
The magazine is very difficult to eject; almost to the point of feeling I would break the release lever.
The included loader will dent 22 ammo if you aren't careful.
I would not advise loading more than 15 rounds in the clip, even though it advertises 25 as the capacity. Loading 15 means you can load them without the loader and not risk damaging the shells. Plus, I haven't had any misfires when only loading 15 rounds.

But overall, a fun 22 caliber pistol for plinking. (Posted on 10/7/2019)

As soon as I took it out of the box the safety was stuck and trigger would not fire. Tried to shoot it, it did chamber but would not shoot. I sent back to mossberg for repairs, after I contacted them they did send me a shipping label to send it back. Now just waiting for my brand new gun to come back that didn't work... Fun to plink with. ran 200 rds of Winchester Super X thru it and no hiccups so far. They could have skipped the fake AR style charging handle and put better effort into mag release but overall I give a thumbs up to this purchase. Haven't made it to dis-assembly stage yet but hoping it's not a pain... (Posted on 10/4/2019)

This is just a first opinion... you get exactly what you would think for the price. Pistol feeding issues. Multiple rounds in chamber when action is pulled back. Very cheap magazine that does not want to come out. Multiple jams. Only a few mags thru so I will update with accuracy if I can get the flaws worked out. (Posted on 10/4/2019)

Price was attractive but product left a lot to be desired. Problems with mags had to be worked thru, both loading and magwell release. has to have three hands to eject mag and loading assists. Could not get more than 22-24 per mag(bought 2 extra mags before I got the gun.
hoping for a fun plunking tool but way too much work. Breakdown another story. Simply put this is the 702 sandwiched between two plastic/polymer shells. Should have waited on price reduction on S&W Sportsman 22lr. (Posted on 10/3/2019)

I always enjoy shopping at RK but mixed emotions on mail order. Had a great online price but took over three weeks to arrive and had to pay $12.99 shipping for RK to ship to their own store isn’t that your own responsibility? Now to be fair they wave the transfer fee so I guess in the long run it’s a wash anyway. The man and woman at the pick up counter were awesome and I ended up buying another couple hundred dollars of stuff as usual in store. Overall a great experience just a little drawn out. The gun itself looks great without any blemishes. It is cheaply made which would go with the price. Really don’t care for the way you have to disassemble every time you need to clean. There are two nuts and ten small screws that screw into plastic. Wondering how long those will take to strip. Then you can actually remove the outer housing to access the gun. (Posted on 9/30/2019)

Got this gun home and took it out to shoot first off the red/green dot sight isn’t really a dot. Second after one round it jammed. Reloaded and shot 10-15 rounds no problem until I went to reload again and found that the spring in the mag had popped off inside had to take mag apart to fix. The pistol is made very cheap mostly plastic very light. I probably wouldn’t buy again (Posted on 9/23/2019)

Ken looks mean and is lots of fun. I had to file down sharp edges from manufacturing or lack of machining flaws on the hand grip. The quality control obviously not too great on this primarily composite Firearm. Surprisingly light. Very concerned about the magazine release breaking. Feels like it flexes when pushing to release the magazine that is sticky and stubborn. Still would buy again due to the novelty and fun factor. Quality is what you would expect with a firearm at the cost. (Posted on 9/22/2019)

Yes it’s very cheaply made. It feels just like a plastic toy and the mag release feels as if it could break at any time. But it’s incredibly fun to shoot and for the price I won’t complain too much. I’ve put 300 rounds through it so far and had 0 malfunctions (Posted on 9/20/2019)

I was in the market for a gun and I visited rkguns.com. This was a featured gun at the time for $239.99. Read some reviews. They were mostly good reviews and the only negative parts of the reviews were issues with the clip not loading fully. I decided to get the gun anyway as the clip issues were an easy fix. This gun also came with a red dot scope.

It's a very good looking gun. Very accurate and I have had none of the issues with loading the clip fully and it hasn't got jammed once. Only thing i can say is that the clip coming out isnt the smoothest.

Regardless i love this gun and i would definitely buy again. (Posted on 9/19/2018)

Ammo feed problems: Clean ammo feeds properly; wipe off excess lube, esp. applicable to budget and older ammo.
Can't insert more than a dozen rounds in the magazine? See YouTube article for easy fix.
Magazine easier to remove if locking mechanism is lubricated with aerosol lithium lube.
Red/green dot sight can be easily calibrated with laser inserted in pistol bore (available in big box stores).

Was nervous about feed issues with this one. Before you shoot it make sure you disassemble and clean the gunk they put in there. While you have it disassembled it's a great time to polish the feed ramp. I bought this one with the red dot from rk. Haven't had a ton of time with it. Meaning I got it home took it apart, put it back together and ran about 100 rounds through it. Only 2 FTE. Was using older sub ammo I had laying around. Overall cheap cool looking gun and fun to shoot. (Posted on 8/31/2018)
Great Gun For The Money But...... Review by Sniper
Quality

I love shooting this hand gun (YES, it's considered a HAND GUN) however its very-very fickle with the .22 LR amo that's been feed in the mag. I've discovered that the only way it won't jam is by using CCI Brand amo. And as others have posted as well, the plastic magazine hinges on being a pile junk. It tends to stick in the guns receiver and is very challenging to remove. I will say though, when I take it out to the range, it does turn heads as everyone there wants to see it up close and ask questions about it. For the money, it honestly isn't a bad firearm. I'd consider buying a second one... (Posted on 8/29/2018)

My wife bought one to use as a plinker But from day one, the magazine has been a nightmare. At times, it refuses to eject from the gun and will only feed about half of the shells in it. When it does feed correctly, the gun tends to jam often. These are cheap but you get what you pay for here. (Posted on 7/25/2018)
