All Magnum Research 1911 series 70 slide and frame rails are machined to aerospace tolerances, delivering accuracy that will match any custom gun. Offered in both Chrome Moly and Stainless and feature stainless match barrels, G-10 grips, light triggers with zero creep, and a stainless beavertail grip safety.

The G (5” barrel) and C (4.33” barrel) models are equipped with fixed combat sights, with fiber optic adjustable sights available through the Magnum Research website. The Undercover “U” (3” barrel) models come with an adjustable rear sight. Like many custom guns, they all feature a solid guide rod, extended manual safety and slide stop, beveled magazine well, extended ejection port, and two magazines.

Magnum Research 1911s chambered in .45 ACP all have a traditional feed ramp machined into the frame. Only the 1911G models have a traditional barrel bushing in the slide. The 1911C and U models feature a bushingless slide and bull barrel. With the shorter slides of the C and U models, the bushingless slide allows for a longer recoil spring and ensures reliable function. For the money, the Magnum Research 1911 has no competitors!

The Desert Eagle 1911 single action models are available in three barrel lengths: 5.01";, 4.33"; (bushingless) and 3.0"; (bushingless).; They are shipped with two magazines with extended base pads for positive magazine insertion.; The frame is precision cast and machined from high quality steel (aluminum, 3.0"; model) and the slide is machined from solid billets of steel then finished in a matte black or matte stainless.; The Desert Eagle 1911 comes loaded with features that would cost extra from a custom gunsmith.; Some of these features include high-ride beavertail grip safety, extended magazine release, aluminum trigger with an overtravel stop, stainless steel full-length guide rod, extended thumb safety, enlarged ejection port, beveled magazine well and G10 (black/grey) grips held in place by stainless steel hex screws.; Series 70 configuration.
