Description

This exclusive model features a silver Savage Stainless Cerakote finish on the frame and slide.

The Ruger LCP II is a rugged, compact, comfortable pocket pistol chambered in 380 ACP. The textured polymer grip frame provides a comfortable, secure grip with a larger grip surface for better distribution of the recoil forces. This lightweight pistol utilizes a 2.75" alloy steel barrel with 1:16 RH twist rate that fits seamlessly inside the through-hardened alloy steel slide. The fixed front and rear sights are integral to the slide while the hammer is recessed within the slide. Safety features include bladed trigger safety; neutrally balanced sear with significant engagement and strong spring tension; and hammer catch to help prevent the hammer from contacting the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled. The LCP II comes with a finger grip extension floorplate that can be added to magazine for added comfort and grip. It includes 6-round magazine.

The gun is well made, it's features well known. RK Guns shipped it very quickly. The LCP II makes up for the few shortcomings the original LCP had. Cool concept, improve upon prior known issues. If the sights are an issue just put a drop of your choice of nail polish on the front or front/rear sights and all will be well. I did that on my M&P Bodyguard 380. The gun goes on sell quite often so you can get it for a great price, but even at the regular price it is well worth it. (Posted on 6/8/2018)

This little pistol does everything I had read it would do. I previously owned 2 LCPs and they served their purposes well. I passed them on to relatives and when RK Guns had a special offer for the LCP II, I could not pass it up. It gives me a better grip, has better sites and the two stage safety trigger is a great improvement. I also bought the Roger 7 round magazine with the finger extension that really improves the grip and firepower. The stainless / cerakote finish is very classy and rust resistant. Pistol disassembles easy for cleaning. At $220 shipped this 380 was a super value. (Posted on 6/6/2018)

Matched to the Blade Tech inside waistband holster fits Good Very lightweight, important as Summertime is here and usually the concealed carry pulls my shorts down this time of year, not good! Right at 11 ounces with the holster, perfect! Good value! Looks great! Oh yeah, Nails manhole covers at 60 yards. (Posted on 6/4/2018)

Pistol works flawlessly with all types of ammo, accuracy was great for this type of firearm. (I have 5 of these, all function perfectly and shoot to point of aim) My wife and children carry these because I trust them to always work!! Wouldn't want a larger sight due to pocket/purse carry design. Awesome value (Posted on 6/4/2018)

The size of this gun is perfect for pocket carry. It is reliable and the trigger pull is very good for a small gun. RK was good in every way; ordering, delivery and in store processing. (Posted on 6/4/2018)

The neutral gray color makes the sights hard to aim, sights need more contrast. Gun shoots well for what it is, if you want to shoot it alot probably will need aftermarket grips added. (Posted on 3/15/2018)

I daily carry a Glock 42, and bought this for the wife. Now I'm a little jealous. It's appreciably smaller than the G42; which I carry IWB. The Ruger comes with a pocket holster and fits quite nicely in my pocket. And I don't wear particularly baggy pants. Unless you're a pretty big guy, the G42 won't fit in anything other than a coat pocket. (Note, the LCP II would be too big for the pockets on the fitted pants my wife wears.)
We took it to the range on Sunday and I was really impressed. Despite not being able to get my pinky finger on the grip, the LCP II was easy to shoot and control. First time picking the gun up I had no problem getting palm-sized seven-shot groupings at 7 yards. I'm sure it's capable of more. I experienced no failures to feed, but it jammed on my wife a couple of times. She's new to shooting and was flinching quite a bit. I'd clear it and finish the mag with no issues. End of the day, I wouldn't hesitate to daily-carry this gun.
The only real downside are the sights. This pistol has the custom gray cerakote finish and the sights are the same color. They wash out in the dark. I know some folks would say sights don't matter on a pocket pistol as there isn't time to aim; reflexive shooting is the way to go. Now, in a classic frontal attack situation, I'd agree. But I can definitely think of some scenarios wherein the ability to place an accurate shot would be vital. So I'll have to work on a solution.
All in all, I'm really happy wih this purchase. Ruger did their homework and made some meaningful improvements over the original LCP. It's a really nice litte pistol. And RK Guns definitely priced it right! (Posted on 1/17/2018)

I’ve owned the original LCP for years and it’s ok, but has several known shortcomings. Ruger fixed ALL of them on this improved version 2. No failures on the range yet. Carries just like the other one. No issues with the SS Cerakote yet, Lots of quality for the dollar. I also recommend getting the Ruger 7 round, extended mag for this. Turns it into a true “3 finger” gun.
Very pleased with this firearm! (Posted on 1/6/2018)
