Failure to feed everytime with multiple brands of ammo. Showing rust on the extractor and chamber already.
And the magazine base plate fell off for no reason.
Don’t waste your money on this pistol. (Posted on 3/9/2018) - Excellent experience Review by Kcrum

I’ve owned a p3at, an original LCP, a G42, there all better than this gun.
Fails to feed on the first round everytime, doesn’t like hydra shock, Winchester white box, or Remington UMC. Jammed everytime with critical defense ammo.
The USA made magazine appears to have a very weak spring, and the bottom plate fell off.
The slide finish, I don’t know what it’s called , but, it scratches up and shows marks very easy.
The extractor and chamber is rust pitted and I haven’t even carried it.
Very very disappointed in this Pistol. (Posted on 3/9/2018) - Lcp2 .380 Review by Joseph

Quite simply put: all the good reviews are on the money. Doesn’t kick near as bad as I thought a little .380 would.
I painted the front site white first and then fluorescent green (Testors) so it would pop, and boy does it pop.
Super pleased and would highly recommend it if you need to deep conceal a firearm.

The first few mags through were a little sticky, but as with any new sidearm, it needs to be worked in. Little remmi oil here or there and it ran through the remaining 300 shells with little to know issue. (Posted on 9/20/2017) - Good Shooter Review by ACRanger

One word of caution.....DO NOT work the slide after cleaning/inspection until fully assembled! If you run into difficlty during reassembly, review the numerous You Tube videos for corrective procedures. Follow Rugers reassembly instructions. (Posted on 5/4/2017) - The best .380 Review by Denny

I like some of the features better on the LCP II, like lock back slide upon last shot, nicer overall grip, trigger safety, etc. but, it is a little wider and more intrusive when pocketed compared to the original LCP. Will likely just continue to carry the original, and would recommend that lesser cost alternative if you plan to do the same.
Gun is reliable, but DONT buy it if you only want one gun and are looking for a combo range/self defense gun. WAY too much recoil for enjoyable range time.
We have an all stainless 20oz Sig P238 that is nearly the same size, but it is a joy at the range. Recommend shooting the guns first before you buy to make sure you will be satisfied.

Definitely not a firearm you would want to hang out and target shoot. Dollar for dollar, I prefer the LC9s, especially for the added power, but again 1 magazines.
Of course for Glock 43 (9mm) the best of all, if you want to spend the extra money.
I don't understand why Ruger gives you 1 6rd mag when most others provide 2 or 3 mags. An extra mag add a cost over 35.00 poor business.
I did take the LCP II to the range. Besides being too snappy it had several jams and double feeds, with various ammo. I tried Remington and it appeared to have less jams then the other ammo. I called Ruger, and they suggested before sending the firearm in, to try another clip that they will send me, and I returning the orig clip. I haven't had a chance to retry it yet, but after the jams, I cannot trust this a a carry piece. Currently i carry my Glock 27 or 43, or Springfield XD Mod2 45 or .40, or Ruger LC9s. Hope this helps.
