Accurate right out of the box. Obvious why this gun sold out. Will buy another if they come back in stock. (Posted on 5/25/2019)

Loaded and fired at a 10" bulls eye steel target. Hit bulls eye ten of ten straight out of the box. Very satisfied with the performance of the ROSSI RS22. (Posted on 5/18/2019)
Very light and easy to handle. Unfortunately the open sights that are standard are terrible for sight acquisition--slower than Christmas. Review by Ken

I've fired about 200 rounds through the little Rossi with 0 problems, even with bulk ammo. Standard velocity or high velocity doesn't seem to matter. I learned "Quick Point" in the US Army so I basically don't use the sights for short range "action shooting." I completely removed the bulky sights because they slow down target acquisition. A hooded front sight is a pain in the butt. Without the sights I can hit a thrown can about 8 out of 10 times. I'd like to see a minimal front sight and a tiny rear peep sight like the sight on the new
Thompson Center .22 auto that is built on the Rugger 10/22. style. Rear sights that I have found cost as much as what I paid for the rifle itself. I bought the rifle at RK and didn't realize how restrictive the sights are. I'd also like to see a shorter magazine. (Posted on 5/10/2019)
CCI Stingers Review by Louisatl

Bought a few weeks ago and got some CCI Stingers cause of its ballistics. They have a lot of problems chambering. Later found out the Stingers have a longer casing than normal 22lr, will try the Mossberg 25rd mag and see.
Overall, great for the price. (Posted on 4/25/2019)

Light, maneuverable and accurate with CCI and Winchester lr ammo.

I did not to change anything out of the box to achieve performance I wished. I wish the red sight could have been a little brighter as my eyes are getting a bit more fuzzy at 80 years. I expect I will fix that some way. Not one jam or hitch from box to scabbard. (Posted on 4/25/2019)

Picked the Rossi 22 a week ago and took it to the range today. It functioned very well. Sights are nice and easy to adjust. I thought I had a problem with FTE and feed. Turned out it was a bad mag. I had 4 mags and 3 had no issue, the 4th mag gave problems more than once.
The rifle action is really a Mossberg 702 rifle, so you can use the Mossberg 25 round 702 mag. For a 99 buck rifle, the groupings were very good. A great purchase. Other reviews say it’s really cheap, I found it to be inexpensive not cheap. Other reviews say the action will only stay open on an empty mag. Pull the action handle back and push in, it will hold open. (Posted on 3/21/2019)

I took it out for the first time yesterday and was not expecting much for the price. Can't imagine I would like it so much. I am not the best shot in the world but at 15 yards I hit the target center on every shot. I really like it.

I've only ran 10 rounds in it but flawless right out of the box at 80 yards shooting a 10" gong. Will update review after I have ran more rounds and mount a scope. Bought this for my daughter as a birthday gift. (Posted on 3/20/2019)
Pleasantly Surprised Review by Agee

pleased with this gun. I bought it because it was priced right and I honestly didn’t expect it to perform the way it does. No complaints about the rifle itself, the magazines are a little pricey $30 for a Rossi 10rd. This gun can use Mossberg 701 mags, I have 2 25rd mags that fit and feed perfectly in this gun. ProMag also makes a 10rd that will fit but it doesn’t feed consistently. All in all you can’t beat this little rifle. (Posted on 2/23/2019)
Love the rifle Review by Jake

Love the rifle, the price was right, it's accurate, light and fun to shoot. Very happy I purchased it, I took it to the range the other day and after discovering where to sight it in my accuracy was pleasing to say the Least. In the past I used the Ruger but the new models have the rotary Magazine which I'm not all that crazy about. This rifle has the straight magazine which I like better. For a fun shooting .22 I would definitely recommend it. (Posted on 1/18/2019)
