KelTec is where the modern Sport Utility rifle was reinvented and the SU16A is where it all began. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, it’s the go-anywhere utility rifle. It features a magazine storage stock that holds two proprietary 10-round magazines. The forend covers an 18.5″ barrel and doubles as a bipod. Although the SU16 models come with adjustable sights, the receiver offers an integrated Picatinny-style rail for mounting an optic.
The SU16 series is designed, engineered and crafted to be the perfect everyday Sport Utility rifle. Differing primarily in barrel length and stock configuration, these gas piston operated, semi-auto rifles accept standard AR-15 magazines, with some models that store two spare, proprietary magazines in the stock.
There are a few SU16 models and configurations to choose from to suit your needs, but all of them feature iron sights and an integrated Picatinny-style rail on top of the receiver to mount your favorite optic.
