The CM Series takes the value priced features from Kahr's CW series and incorporates these features into a smaller 3" barrel package. The CM9093 has the same external dimensions as the PM9093 which make it ideal for concealed carry by licensed civilians and law enforcement personnel. The CM9093 is chambered in a 9 x 19 caliber, has a 3.0" barrel and an overall length of 5.42, with a height of 4.0". The pistol weighs in at 14 ounces plus 1.9 ounces for the 6 rd stainless steel magazine. Differences between the CM models and PM models are the CM9093 has a conventional rifled barrel instead of the match grade polygonal barrel on Kahr's PM series; the CM slide stop lever is MIM (metal-injection-molded) instead of machined; the CM series slide has fewer machining operations and uses simple roll marking instead of engraved markings and finally the CM series are shipped with one magazine instead of two magazines.

The CM9 slide is only .90 inch wide and machined from solid 416 stainless steel with a matte finish, each gun is shipped with one 6 rd stainless steel magazine with a flush baseplate. Magazines are USA made, plasma welded, tumbled to remove burrs and feature Wolff Gunsprings. The magazine catch in the polymer frame is all metal and will not wear out on the stainless steel magazine after extended use.

Awesome little pistol Review by John B.
What a great buy. Recently purchased this little pistol from the Muncie, Indiana RK. As soon as I got it home, I broke it down for an inspection and cleaning. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this pistol. I grabbed a few boxes of my 9mm ammo ( Remington 115gr, Remington 124gr, Hornady Critical Defense in both 124gr and 147gr and Winchester White box 115gr. I figured that if it could run the Winchester, it could run anything. ) best grouping with ball ammo was the Remington 124gr. At 7 yards, I was holding groups the size of a silver dollar. The hornady Critical Defense in both 124 and 147 held the same type groupings. I did have 2 FTF's with the Winchester White box ball ammo out of 50 rounds. All the other ammo ran flawlessly with 350 rounds fired. If you are looking for a nice little pistol, give this one a try. You will NOT be disappointed. My ONLY complaint, and the reason for 4 stars on value, is that it only comes with one magazine. But I knew that before purchasing.

Don't waste your money Review by Woody
My wife got me this handgun as a birthday present for me and when she gave it to me I disassembled the gun to give it a thorough inspection and a much needed cleaning since Kahr must use the cheapest and dirtiest ammo they can find for their 5 shot factory test fire.

Upon cleaning I found a massive burr inside the barrel that would not come out. I used a jag with 2 patches on it to see what that would do with the burr and although it removed some copper jacket pieces off of it, but the barrel was trash!

Kahrs customer service reps & customer service manager were beyond disrespectful and didn't want to do anything about along with insulting me over the phone. I'll never buy a Kahr firearm, auto ordinance or desert eagle ever again! Also beware they only offer a limited 5 year warranty on their firearms. (Posted on 6/21/2018)
extremely reliable subcompact Review by plato
I bought the Kahr CM9 specifically to replace my Diamondback DB9. The DB9 was originally completely unreliable and useless as a self-defense arm, and after 2 trips to Diamondback for warranty repairs to resolve the issue, the DB9 was significantly improved but still experienced failures to feed. In addition, the DB9 was always uncomfortable to shoot, even with standard velocity rounds (DB9 isn't rated for +P) The Kahr CM9 is only slightly larger, but still extremely concealable. It is also heavier, but still unnoticed when in a belt holster. In terms of reliability, the Kahr is superior; it has been 100% reliable during first 300 rounds, not a single failure regardless of ammo type. This is the first subcompact, single stack, of such small size that I've ever found to be 100% reliable. It's also an excellent value. And its quite comfortable to shoot, with recoil limited by the heavy slide and heavy recoil spring. The only negative is that the heavy recoil spring does require a strong hand to cock it, so it maybe too difficult for anybody with limited strength. (Posted on 4/24/2017)
Kahr-Arms CM9 Review by Sling
Nice finish and seems to be well constructed . An affordable no frills weapon. Comes with only one magazine . Slide is a bit stiff compared to my RM380. Just received it and have not taken it to the range ,so I cannot give a detailed account as of now.. (Posted on 4/5/2017)
Kahr CM9 Review by gtstdriver
This pistol has a nice trigger and is a great pocket carry. I looked at one of my friend's Kahr's in .45 and liked the size and the trigger, but I wanted one in 9mm. I waited for a sale and found this outstanding deal at Rural King. (Posted on 3/20/2017)
Nice small little 9mm Review by Corey
I bought a CM9 a week ago for a pocket 9mm. So far it has been great. I have ran around 100 shots through it so far without any problems. I am a little concerned about how well the plastic frame will wear. It looks to be a softer plastic. It arrived with plastic burrs on both ends of the slide grooves. I paid $318 out the door so I am not expecting a flawless gun. That and it resides in my pocket, so wear and tear are inevitable. (Posted on 3/20/2017)
Great little gun Review by Bobdrummer54
Shoots good aims true. The only thing
That was tough was breaking it down and
Cleaning it. It's not as easy as my other handguns. But I figured it out. (Posted on 3/19/2017)
Good reliability, good value Review by MB
Kahr products wrote the book on small light weight concealable handguns and the cm version doesn't disappoint, with its light weight and compact size this is a gun that can be carried all day and night with no discomfort at all,one of the most reliable guns on the market at a value price.Kahr cm9 thumbs up (Posted on 3/19/2017)
clean break Review by skipper
Kahr handguns are quality firearms. Smooth trigger with a very nice break. Sights are quick to get on target. Nice clean design.
The Kahr CM 9 is a real value. (Posted on 3/19/2017)
Fantastic trigger Review by Johnny D
I have had this gun for three years. The CM9 is the cheaper version of the PM9, but you'll never know it. This gun has a long trave,l smooth as silk trigger. Kahr's are known to have great triggers in all I've their models. They do take a little getting used to. I have never had any issues what so ever, but they recommend a 200 round break in period. Awesome lil gun! Little less on value and quality, but very good overall. Not a cheapened model at all. Review by Jack in Galion
I wouldn't hesitate to own one of these as a PM9 substitute. In fact, buy two and still save over the price of the higher dollar one. It seems to be well balanced, no side to side wiggle in between shots. Quick target acquisition after each shot. Strong shooter and pretty darn accurate for a smaller pistol.13 out of 15 stars.
