great price for a fun gun. Review by gun barn shooter

read some reviews before i picked this gun up. the recoil is different. hold it with a steady grip and try to isolate the small amount of recoil that said it would eliminate the ejection issues. it shot great for me. i did notice a sloppy grip and i started to have ammo feed issues. Bought this gun for a plinker. I have tried ammo from 5 different manufacturers. So far the fail-to-eject ratio is at 100%
What a Piece-o-Crap. (Posted on 6/18/2017)

looks good, shoots good if you use quality h.v. ammo, cheap ammo equals jams. finish on slide is already showing bare metal, just from holster. would buy again. (Posted on 5/11/2017)

There is something about a 1911 that I don't like. A grip safety. This target pistol does not have it. Fun to shoot and it loves LRNs. It's also a good piece to practice refinishing. My slide is gold now. I might need to look into therapy. (Posted on 1/29/2017)

Great Gun for the price. Review by Spyke

I have had this gun for little over a week. It shoots great!! shot around 100 rounds of lead nosed 22's through it not one jammed. At the end shot 10 rounds of jacked 22's through it. it jammed a couple of time. But the gun is still not broken in. So I tribute the jams to the ammo, not the gun. I love the feel of it. Wished the grip safety worked. But can't have everything. For the money it is a great gun. My brother loved it! (Posted on 11/25/2016)
Think twice about buying this gun Review by bluedog

The gun shoots good. But the problems are: if you try to get in touch with Chiappa, they do not return calls or e-mails. You contact the front desk and the girl is snappy. They want you to pay for the parts that have been back ordered up front and they don't know when they can fill the order. The barrel bushing needs to be replaced, which is a weak spot on the gun, but has not been available for two months. They don't know when it will be available, but, you can pay for it ahead of time and hope you will get it. The part was extremely reasonable, but the shipping was 4 times the amount of the part. This gun is still in warranty, but nothing with the company is being done. I would not recommend none of the Chiappa guns. Read what the internet states about their guns. It is really an eyeopener.
I will continue to purchase my guns at Rural King, the best place to buy!!!!!!

The gun has not run 10 rounds in a row yet. Seems the spring is way to weak. Will not eject high power 22's. Looks and feels nice, but that is it! (Posted on 6/26/2016)

I have fired several rounds in the gun and it jammed once but that was because of the ammo I was using. When I changed ammo it worked great. Great value and a great gun. (Posted on 6/26/2016)

;;load magazines carefully to avoid or limit jams. seems to loosen up after 100 rounds. Review by Jim

make sure you watch the way you load the magazines. crooked loading can cause jams. magazine is plastic and I do not believe they should be kept loaded due to the light spring in the magazine. Fun to shoot and fairly accurate. Rapid fire can cause excessive heat that can lead to jams. (Posted on 6/18/2016)

I have had this gun for about 3 months. It is fun to shoot. I've had one or two failures to feed which is not bad for a .22 auto. Ships with 2 magazines. (Posted on 6/11/2016)
